Junior Dragster
Semi’s: Number one qualifier Shawn Chase pulled to the line to do battle with Gabriella Silva. Chase got the head start and never looked back as Silva was late leaving the starting line. In the other pair, Austin Jones was paired up with Cera Jones. C. Jones had just taken out number two in point’s Amber Whooley in the previous round and was looking at going to another final round, but her hot rod wasn’t up to the task as she dramatically slowed giving the win to A. Jones.
Final:A. Jones left the starting line with a terrible .225 reaction time compared to Chase’s .069, but A. Jones made a major withdrawal from the Luck Bank as Chase breaks out running a 11.139 on his 11.14 dial to give A. Jones the win.
[Point Leader - Shawn Chase +44, increased by +22]
Junior Dragster Consolation
Semi’s: Courtney Morris had her best reaction time in eliminations, but runs a 10.778 on her 10.78 dial to give Jessica Trimmer the win. Amber Whooley had the single.

[Point Leader - Lacie Roumpz +385, increased by +55]
Sportsman
Semi’s: Stan Hooper Sr.’s reaction time was so late that he didn’t leave the starting line until the starter came over, knocked on his windshield and asked him if he was going to finish his pass or just back up. Eric Setterberg had a better reaction time and got the win light. Gene Bruflat had the same problem as Hooper in the previous pair. He left the starting line with a .325 reaction time and Tami Phillips advanced.
Final: Setterburg had his car dialed in running a 13.051 [13.00 dial], but he gave up too much on the starting line and Phillips won this one with a holeshot.
[Point Leader - Stan Hooper Sr +44, increased by +11]
Pro
Semi’s: Jim Grace got a free test run when Eric Doukas turned on the red light. Alvin Clarke had the single.
Final: Clarke got to leave first and had his worst reaction time of the night, a .028. Grace’s light was slightly slower (.050) and he wasn’t able to catch Clarke who won his first race of the season. The bad news is Grace’s final round woes continued as he is now 0 for 5 in final round appearances this season. The good news is even with his runner up finish, he still increased his points lead by 44 points over second place.
[Point Leader - Jim Grace +129, increased by +44]
Super Pro
Semi’s: Frank Barrett was late on the tree, but to make things interesting, John Garafola got out of the groove a couple of times, showing the starter both sides of his Camaro. At the stripe on the big end, Garafola got there first to take out Barrett. Cecil Wiles had the single.
Final: Garafola fouled out at the starting line by -.006 to give Wiles the win.
[Point Leader - Lonnie Grace +44, decreased by -22]
